For years, the photographs just sat on hard drives, and the family tree lived in someone’s memory instead of anywhere written down. Madhavam started as a way to fix both problems at once: one place for the portraits I’ve made over twenty years, and one place — gated, just for us — for the family behind them.
It’s still growing. The blog you’re reading right now is one of the newer pieces, and most of what’s here today is a placeholder for what’s coming. But the bones are in place: a portfolio, a family tree people can actually edit, and now, somewhere to write things down.
